Southern California Welcomes President Zaki
By Bowdoin NewsSixty Bowdoin alumni, parents, and families from around southern California gathered in Del Mar, a beach town in San Diego County, to welcome President Safa Zaki.
The event was hosted at the home of Martin '71 and Sheila Friedlander P'06, P'08, P'14, P'18 and was the eleventh in a series of receptions held across the country to welcome Bowdoin’s sixteenth president.
Following Martin’s greeting and introduction, President Zaki delivered remarks and took questions from those in attendance.
